Hi to everyone! :)

This week I'm going to show you another Big Band from the Villena's Conservatory's work. This piece is called "Mais que nada" and it's a samba composed by the Brazilian Jorge Ben.

This piece is (as i've alredy said) a samba, but, by order of the conductor, we played it with a Bossa Nova's rythm. This is a very known piece (at least in Spain, Portugal and Brazil)

Piano's part isn't very large in relation to musical variety. Godowsky would be very proud of mine (because this piece it's played only with the left hand  )

Thanks for watching! :D

Shame there weren't some small riffs that could have been inserted here and there for the right hand part. Still I supposed not all musicians can say that they can play and scratch their nose at the same time! :P

I find the intense concentration on your face really funny!

Ha! Ha!

I suppose staring at the imaginary music on the stand helps! :P
