Roland HP4500s Spares
Post by qwertyuiop69 »
Hi can anyone help me, I have a Roland HP4500 piano with faulty key contacts (the rubber has perished on some keys) does anyone know where I can get replacement contact pads (new or used)
Re: Roland HP4500s Spares
Wow, I haven't seen a 4500s in years! A friend of mine used to have one, bought new in the mid 1980s. I was very young at the time but I always liked the sound of it. It wasn't realistic in the sense that todays digital pianos are, but there was something about it, and it was definitely recognizable as a piano sound. Infact, they used it for a good 15 or so years and even up until recently I always remember it was a good sounding instrument - if you have any soundclips or vids of you playing it I'd be interested.
ANYWAY in answer to your question, i have no idea but I googled and found this

Good luck, I hope you get it fixed, for me that's a total nostalgia trip.
