My daughter has been preforming since 3yrs old, she is now 14yrs and for the last 3 yrs or so has been nagging to learn piano. We have managed to enrole her in a specialist preforming arts/music school where she has opted to do music, dance, drama GCSE.
So i need to give in now and get her something good to lean/practice on at home, that will take her to a good grade where we can then upgrade her to a real piano in a few years. Currently live in a two up two down terrace so absolutely no room even for upright - electric piano going on the conservatory. We are planning on moving in 3 yrs to the coast - currently leicester where we can purchase a house that will accomodate a real piano. She learns very fast, is very musical and with her school lessons plus private lessons, i expect her to move thro the grades fairly fast over the next 2-4 yrs.
As a student myself im looking at a max of £300, so will need secondhand and was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations that would take her from beginner tho to a good grade ready for her preforming arts degree at uni in 4 yrs time.
If i can get one in my price range i was concidering the Yamaha Clavinova 340? alternitivly i will concider getting one on tick thats slightly over my price range if i can.
