Reconditioned U3. Good value?
I was up in London at Chappells the other day to buy sheet music. Up stairs they have lots of (very nicely set up and tuned) Yamahas...including a '70s U3 which has been fully restored by Yamaha in Japan. The piano looks like new and plays and sounds really nice(ly). Considering the obvious quality of the job, would folks here consider the asking price of £3750 to be reasonable?

You can get certified restored by Yamaha U3s a bit cheaper off out of London shops up north they tend to go for £3300 ish having said that Chappells do go over them as well as Yamaha and bring them up to a very nice standard So I would say its a good price for a London shopModel V wrote:I was up in London at Chappells the other day to buy sheet music.
