Hello Everyone,
I'm pleased to have found this forum, - we all need friendship and support learning to play the piano - it's such a long and frustrating journey and yet exhilarating at the same time
I'm an adult learner, well let's just say the 3rd age is approaching (ahem!)
I began to take lessons several years ago, just for pleasure, no exams, and reached around grade 3 level.
Then had to give up for health reasons.
Now I am ready to begin again and find that my meagre music reading skills have dissolved to nothing, so before I find another teacher and resume lessons it seems sensible to go back over all I learned before, including much sightreading!
Anyway, thank you for reading this, and I look forward to meeting you and sharing your journeys here on the forum.
