Don't know about Europe, but in Britain the best are reckoned to be the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, Trinity College of Music and Guildhall College (I think) of Music, all in London. There's the Royal Northern College of Music, I think, but I'm not sure where that is - I have a feeling it's Manchester, but anywhere north of Aylesbury is unknown territory to me, so I'm not going to commit myself on that one. There are bound to be howls of indignation from people saying I've left one/some out, but I've listed the ones I'm familiar with. Apologies to everyone I've inadvertently insulted...
