Hi there. I've been playing piano for a couple of years now and have learnt to play by ear; but what I can can play is limited in scope. So I have resolved to actually learn music properly. :P
I spent some time looking for video and stuff but I found nothing that really suited me. I'm really only looking to advance my skills as pianist and also learn music theory. To give you a rough guide to my abilty; my proudest achivement to date is figuring out half of moonlight sonata and I can play it pretty well, i feel. So yeah, any help would be awesome. :P

Hi,

The little book of music theory is good, and you can get this from - www.musicroom.com and its pocket size so you can carry it around with you which is handy!!!!

Plus their are some good websites around that offer free theory advice, plus free piano music - These sites are: -
http://www.musictheory.org.uk/
http://www.gmajormusictheory.org/Freebies/freebies.html

Also good teach yourself books are the kenneth baker books on piano, they start off at beginners levels but have books for more advanced pianists aswell! #

Let me know if you want any further advice.
