Eavestaff Minipiano Pianette #10657

My 'Art Deco' eavestaff has 10657 on the inside at the back - would anyone please know if this gives the date of manufacture - Many thanks, Vee

If you look at my Numbers page at pianogen.org you will see me suggesting that they used a thousand numbers per year from 1934, but we have just received a donated Minipiano which seems to prove this wrong...

#10,365 has been donated to our Piano History Centre, and is said to have been bought new in 1944, so yours must be around 1945.
