LORIS and SONS

Post by markandhelen »

Dear readers,

Can anyone shead any light on the history of the manufacturer LORIS and SONS, also is this piano considered to be a good make or one to avoid. We have an opportunity to purchase an upright (black) that looks and sounds Ok but can find nothing comparable to compare the asking price of the piano of approx 2K. I belive it was built around 1980.

Any advice or info will be welcome.

I'm sorry, this is a history page, and although technically, 1980 is history, I don't have much experience of anything this modern. Anyway, you need to get a tuner to check it over on the spot, regardless of what name is on the front. Where in the world is Loris likely to be?
