Stelzner any details from serial number

Post by Trevor2 »

Hi

Serial numbers stamped in two lines (in the wood inside left).
Top line 46298
Bottom line 33878

Can anyone provide the details of this upright piano, or direct me to where I may be able to obtain them?

Or email me Trevor2@ausfish.com.au

Thanks in advance. Kind regards Trevor

I am not aware of any dates of Stelzner numbers being published. You ask for details of the piano, that would require original archive material to be available somewhere. Such info is rarely available for any piano, have a look at my Archives page at www.pianogen.org

All I can tell you is that enquiries about Stelzner usually seem to originate from Australia. This may well be one of several aliases used on pianos bought in from anonymous German wholesalers.
