I have been searching for this piano piece for some time,
but never been able to find it.

You can hear the first 50 seconds of this piece in the next video :

Thanks in advance,

Sounds like Einaudi type stuff to me. If you contact the BBC they are EXCELLENT at telling you what's what; tell them the programme it was used for, and the exact point in the programme it was used, and they will find out for you.
Good luck!

I'm glad that Gill has said that. I thought the same, but I had no idea how to spell the bloke's name.

Some of the kids I teach think he's wonderful. I'm afraid that if I hear that sort of stuff coming from a practice room, I have no idea whether it's Ein-whatsit or a pupil improvising/meandering on the keyboard.

Yes; "I've-found-a-chord-and-I'm-going-to-stick-to-it" music. But he keeps 'composing' the same piece over & over again and everyone's too polite to mention it!

I hate Einaudi's music to be honest, it's so boring. Mind you, he's boring people all the way to the bank so why not?

This is the url of the website where you can order this music. If you like this piece, you may also like the music of Michael Nyman, he wrote the music for a film called the piano.
