Craft of Pinao
HI!
I am a Serbian pianist and have a teacher, Alan Fraser, who has a really physical approach to piano technique. He has not so much relaxed my hand as woken it up, activated it and brought it to a new awareness of its capabilities. He has written a book, The Craft of Piano Playing, that talks about this approach. I am wondering if anyone at this forum has come across this book, and what are their impressions?

I have his DVD, he is a great player with great techniques, but for me as I am an amateur it makes it all very complicated.
I do try to stay relaxed and have the natural arch in my hands, this to avoid injuries.
