Hi All,

I've recently decided to start taking lessons. I'm a complete adult beginner. Not sure how to find and choose a piano teacher? Any tips or help? How can I decide on a teacher?

Thanks,

Os

There are teachers listed on this site (see Piano Teachers to the left of this bit).
Recommendation is by far the best - ask friends/family/acquaintances who are learning or whose kids/friends are learning.
Don't be seduced by letters after the name - doesn't necessarily mean a good teacher, just a good musician; the two aren't synonymous.
Ask in the local music shop, if there is one, or ask your piano tuner - we tend to know (or know of) most local teachers.
Look in the Yellow Pages.
Try www.musicteachers.co.uk.
