Hector Love, Pianoforte maker, London
Post by hectorjean »
Hi there, Doing research on a family living in the Lambert, Clapham area London during 1870- 1900, The family of Hector Love were known to be Pianoforte makers in that area. The family were originally from Scotland, any information on pianoforte makers in this era would be great.

Do you mean Lambeth? If you email me, I may be able to give your email address to Jo Brennan, a descendant of Hector Love who lives in Australia. There was also a Charles Love, slightly later. As for other makers of the era, we have hundreds on file, I wouldn't know where to start!
