Cramer Baby Grand

Post by doctor7 »

Hello

I have been looking for a baby grand for sometime within my budget and have come across a Cramer baby grand - serial number 53789 (1930). It is priced at £995.

Whilst I don't expect it to be as good as any new baby grand is it worth investing this money or should I hold back for something like a Yamaha GB1?

It looks like it is exceptional condition for its age but obviously, my home like most now, is centrally heated, will this adversly affect it? Any advice would be very much welcomed.

Regards

Firdstly, I would not assume that the published dates of numbers are correct, they don't always work out for Cramer pianos. Nobody can guess what condition it is in without seeing it, especially with regard to its tuneability. Ask your tuner.
