I have MANY favourite movies, and even more favourite scenes but here are five movies I could watch to death and back again... in no particular order:
Die Hard
Back to the Future
American Beauty
Sense and Sensibility (with Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson)
Dirty Dancing
Don't worry, my tastes do range a long way across the movie spectrum... not all my faves are the movie equivalent of 'OK'!

Hmm, that's hard as I'm not much of a movie person but here goes...
Shawshank Redemption
Life of Brian
An American Werewolf in London
Rebecca (the 1940 one with Larry Olivier)
The Miss Marple ones with Joan Hickson (do they qualify?)
I also love some of the old animations, not the modern computer ones where every cute character has eyes the size of footballs, but the hand-drawn ones, like 101 Dalmations, Jungle Book, Sword in the Stone. I never grew up really!

mmmmmmm
I find it quite hard to have only a top 5 films list, as most of my favorite kind of flims are rather gizzly or scary or are sci fi ones. I don't want to seem like a violent weirdo
, I do like other flims!
Heres some that spring to mind:
Alien
Texas Chainsaw massacre
Halloween ( 1 )
others:
Back to the Future
Rain man
Shine
Falling Down
My Neighbour Totoro ( I like a good anime cartoon! )

OK, who joined me in watching Carry On Up The Khyber yesterday afternoon? ...and up yours, your Excellency
I thought my husband was also watching it, but he was actually pacing around for it to finish as the formation lap of the grand prix was about to start!
Oh, I'd forgotting about One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, that was brilliant.
