As many will know, Trinity College of Music and Guildhall School Of Music collaborated in 2004 to produce a new music examinations syllabus. The new syllabus which has inherited the Trinity name, has made some brilliant improvements. They have developed a more sensitive marking ethos within theory and aural testing to include improvisation, rhythm tests or melodic tests.
Has anyone else come across these? I have to say, I am very impressed with the new assessment ethos. Much more modern and relevant to today's musicians!
