Hi there

Does anyone have any information, web links, date founded etc., on this piano manufacturer? They don't appear to be listed in Pierce's Piano Atlas or the Blue Book or any of the piano date websites, and a search on Piano Forums also yielded no results for me.

A friend has an upright made by them, serial no. III 27048.

Any idea of date of manufacture? Any information appreciated.

Regards,
Anthony Cooke

Have a look at the Numbers page at my website, you will see that most pianos cannot be dated by numbers. Some Bohm pianos are marked "Exhibition Model", but were probably not made for exhibitions, since there seem to be too many. We have found no trace of Bohm so far, although we are pursuing details of a Wilhelm Bohm in Silberbach, Germany in the twenties. It may even be an alias used on German-made pianos sold elsewhere.
