Please can someone give me an idea on history, value and upkeep for this piano - is in need of retune and some `TLC'.
Also has another name on it RJ Heath & Sons

Nobody anywhere can trace the life history of every individual piano, Kirkman archives have not even survived to give us the original sale details. The number suggests 1930, but published dates of Kirkman numbers are not reliable. As for the present state of the piano, I cannot tell you the value without seeing it, or what needs doing to it. "In need of a retune" makes the assumption that it can be tuned, this may not be possible. Heath & Sons will have sold it at some time. Any other information depends on photos, can you email some to me?
