I have an acoustic piano that I usually practice on at home, but I spend about 3 nights a week at my boyfriend's house, so we decided to get me a piano to practice on at his place. He lives in a barn conversion on the 1st floor, and getting an acoustic in there would be a nightmare, not to mention the fluctuations in temperature and humidity in that place!
So I reluctantly went for a digital. I tried loads and settled on the Yamaha CLP 340. I have to say, I'm extremely impressed! It looks lovely and has a great feel to it. Its obviously not quite the same as an acoustic, and I wouldn't expect it to be, but its very close. I highly recommend it for anyone considering a digital piano
