Return a Yamaha CLP 230 to factory Settings?

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a quick way to restore a CLP 230 to the way it was when it left the factory? I have just brought a secondhand 230 and the prvious owner has changed all the settings.

I've been through and changed most one at the time but just wondered if there was a quick way. Most electronic equipment has a secret switch somewhere.

Thanks

Graham

Hold down the C2# , F2 & G2# keys while you power up. Use the Tempo/Function button to select test 47. Press the Metronome button to execute the test, which will take a few seconds. Press the Metronome button again to exit the test. Switch the CLP off and back on again.

Thanks.

When you say C2# , F2 & G2# this means the second C starting from the left ?

I've also found this :-
HOLD KEY "F0" AND POWER ON

Does this mean anything to anyone? What is the F0 key?

Ahhh hold that question. I just found this in the user guide

All Dual mode, Split mode, reverb, effect, touch sensitivity,
tuning settings, and the settings affected by the
Backup Functions can be restored to their original factory
preset values by holding the C7 key (right-most key
on the keyboard) while turning the [POWER] switch ON.

Thanks

All the CLP2XX models as well as the CP300 and CP33 have this function too!
