Burling & Mansfield Player Piano

Post by cergie »

I have been searching for over a year for some information on my Burling & Mansfield player piano and have had no luck. I know where it was made and about the company that dissolved, but what I need to know is the year of the piano and the value. I have a serial number, which is N202652775. Can anyone help or offer any guidance on where I might go to find this information?

Our active research is aimed at antique British pianos, so I have no great expertise on player pianos. The other bad news is that nobody can tell you what it is worth without being there. No precise dates of their serial numbers are available, and serial numbers do not usually begin with a letter, and are not that long. Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org

Thank you so much for your quick response. I do know this piano is from London, England and was shipped to the U.S. I'll have to try to look again to see if I can find another number that might be the serial number.
