I have an upright grand piano, 'overstrung, iron frame, check action' under damped, black in colour, made by G Ajello and Sons, serial number 28702. It is in good condition, has an excellent tone, good action. I would very much like some advice on its age and value, as I need to sell it.

It is not possible to date Ajello pianos by their numbers. Have a look at the Datemarks page at www.PianoGen.org
