Kingsbury by Cable Co.
Post by AmandaJane2008 »
Hello! I was just wondering if anybody could possibly tell me the age or year of a piano I acquired from an auction. It is a Kingsbury manufactured by The Cable Company, Chicago. The serial number is 127831. There are also penciled marking under the serial number that reads, "M. Hoffman, RTT. A440. 4/29/91. 5/23/91." I don't know anything about pianos, so some information about mine would be great!
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

The number suggests 1909, so could "91" be 1991? RTT A440 could mean "raised tuning to A 440"? That would make sense, two tunings a month apart to raise it up if it had gone down a long way.
