WM. L. Schmitz - Age etc.

WM. L. Schmitz -

Is this a stencil piano? The brand name seemed unfamiliar to anyone I asked. I live in the Philippines. I bought this piano from a technician who in turn got it (traded?) from a 60+ y/o piano teacher who in turn got it (inherited?) from her mother who was also a piano teacher. My technician told me that the piano is imported, probably from US. He is not sure if it is stencil though. He said it's around 90 y/o already. Is it? What do you think?

It is around 5 feet high (or higher) upright and the serial number is 11252.

Numbers are no help to you, no dates of Schmitz numbers are published. I have no information on this maker.
