I have been having piano lessons now for about four months and need to improve my legato technique, can you suggest some exercises, books or websites I can try.

My teacher has told me my techique improves but I think it is still very rough in places.

Czerny exercises and Hanon exercises are both good. But not exciting... If your teacher's going on about your legato then s/he ought to tell you how to rectify it - that's why they're paid!
