Wallis is not an uncommon name, and sconces (projecting candleholders) were quite common between aout 1820-1920, but no dates of numbers are available. Wallis was around from at least the 1890s to the 1920s, but I'll see what else I can find out. Press www below, and then press "Datemarks".

Joesph Wallis was established in 1848, but although he was listed among the pianoforte makers in London directories, his advertising does not suggest that he made pianos. Around 1883, The firm's name changed to Joseph Wallis & Son. Around 1889, Joseph they became a limited company, and seem to have finished around 1930. See
