Yamaha U1 Silent
Hey, I just got one for the music room at school and I have to say I'm mighty pleased with it. Had it voiced to take the 'Yamaha edge' off the top end and imo it sounds fantastic.
For not that much more cash it's a hell of an improvement on the cheaper models. I'd be very happy to have one at home and if anyone's thinking of getting a serious-but-affordable piano, this has got to be worth consideration.
I ran the silent piano voice through some stage-plas speakers and my word it's a damn good sound.
So much pleasure from one shiny black box!
