WX1 or UX3? Pls help. :)

Hi,
I was looking around for used pianos and I came across these two.
They are for my 2 young boys, aged 5.5yrs and 4yrs old.
They have started playing since 3.5yrs old.
WX1 5.4mil serial number...1900 pounds (piano dealer)
UX3 4.4 mil serial number...1500 pounds (personal seller)
So far, I have only heard and see and touch the WX1.
I still have not gone to see the UX3.
The WX1 is really new and one previous owner.
The UX3, I beleive is 2nd or 3rd owner.
Both are own previously owned by piano teacher.
Which do you think is a better deal?
which piano can I sell at a higher price in 5 years?
I am not a piano player unfortunately.
My main concern is that the boys may loose interest in 3yr or 5 yrs down the road and I am stuck with a white elephant with no resale value.

I am also wondering if I should get them such a good piano now? Since the current one is still working.
but of cos, doesn't sound as nice as the WX1.

The WX1 isn't sold here and I have no experience of them, but it seems that they are technically similar to the UX1 sold in the Japanese home market, ie a U1 with an X-braced backpost design.

Prices seem like total bargains compared to the UK!

From what I read, the WX1 used to be the top model of Yamaha.
I was just wondering if it would be better than the 3 series, ie UX3.
My friend made a comment....
"why are you getting your sons such a high end piano when he is only 5yrs old?"
I do not play, but I do know if a Craftsman have a lousy tool, he would need to work double hard to get the same results.
I am just wondering if I should buy it as I worry my sons may give up.
Honestly, I don't mind spending so long as it can achieve its purpose.
Having said that, I also ve there are many other pianos which can achieve its purpose as well.
that's why i am lost....

This is a relative statement.

Unfortunately, we earn Singapore dollars and not British Pounds which is 3 times in value.
