I have an old upright by Camp & Company, New York. Its serial number is 5148. It still plays good, and sounds surprisingly great, but the ivory keys are chipped and it's clearly been around the block. A tuner told us he was so surprised on how good a condition it was in. My wife tells me she thought it was from 1889, but can't remember where she got this information. That said, our son is becomming so good at the piano that we're thinking of upgrading. Before we toss this old girl to the wind is there any information anyone could supply on its history and value? Thank you in advance. Eric

Est 1879 Your pianos serial number 5148 puts your pianos c 1880 to 1885
As to value ask your pianos tuner as a on site inspection is needed and local market forces need to be take in to concentration
