Another U-series clone I suspect!

Nice casework design, but may well get dated-looking before long.

ie a Kemble Cons. or U1N in drag!

I'm not sure of the credentials of the Yamaha Design Studio in London either! What have they designed so far exactly?

It looks nice, but will it date?

I would say

Designed at the Conran and Partners Design Studio in London for Kemble

Well they do seem to be bringing out new case models and dropping the odd one of the last few years

Should have suspected Conran. They did a good job with the Shaker-inspired Vermont.

Just seen one.

It looks better in the flesh than in the photos, but some aspects of it don't work well. The odd notch on the pillar seems pointless and Radius it may be, but there are a bit too many of them. I like the "Bechstein Model 8" style corner radiussing, but I still think it will look silly in a few years' time. Not as silly as the "V-Series" does though.

It's a bitbloodyexpensive too innit!?

Buy a U1 or a Kemble Cons unless you have money to throw away on items which will prove ephemeral.

It will be a few weeks before I get see one they tend to stock the shops down south first with new models, before they ship them up north.
