Grand Piano Kawai RX1/3 versus Wendl&Lung 161/178
Hi,
a while ago i bought a Wendl & Lung Piano 122. Thanks for your advices
(especially Piano Guy) when i asked before here about this topic!
I don't regret my decision.
So if my progress in studying piano will continue i would consider to buy a Grand Piano (which is my dream).
Because of this there is already raising the question if a Wendl&Lung (161
oder 178) grand could compete against a Kawai RX grand ( it guess the RX1 oder RX3 would be a counterpart)
So what do you think?
Or would you recommand another one?
BTW: A Steinway B is out of my budget
Regards,
Andreas

No.
The Kawai will be better built, but the action is very different to anything else on the planet, so make sure you like it before you commit. The RX2 is better than the RX1 both tonally and in tuning stability. Don't even *think* about an earlier model of Kawai. If you go for an RX, make sure it's new stock with the Millennium III Action. Kawais with the earlier wooden action feel rather .... well.... Wooden!
