Lester Betsy Ross Spinet
Hello. I received a Lester Betsy Ross Spinet as a "moving away gift" from a friend and was wondering if anyone could help me find out the approximate year this piano was made in. The number on the back metal plate is 294955 and engraved on the top of the side wood panels is 51069 62.
Oh, and it also has an electric plug on the rear. Does anyone know what this is for? It doesn't seem to do anything when I plug it in.
Thanks.

The number suggests 1957. The electirc supply may be for a damppchaser or similar device for discouraging condensation. It would be easy to see inside the bottom of the piano.
