Dear All, Could anyone help date my piano? It is a Boyd Ltd London piano with the serial no. 27884. I believe it is quite old as it has filled in candle holder holes. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks

It could be around 1912, but Boyd pianos cannot be reliably dated just on the basis of serial numbers, because they were made in several factories. Datemarks are much more likely to help, see the Datemakrs page at the link below.
