The makers do not exist now, and were not early victorian or 1870. Originally, around 1890, there was no firm called Brooklyn, the pianos were made by Green & Savage, and their trade mark was 3 organ pipes. In the 1900s, they adopted the Brooklyn name for the company, probably in much the same way that the Stroud Piano Co. later adopted the name Bentley because it was succesful for them.
