Everson Cabinet Grand

Post by shell »

Hi
I have an Everson Cabinet Grand and am trying to figure out it's age. It was my fathers' and before him an aunt. It was built by R.S. Williams and Sons Co. Ltd. Oshawa Ontario, and sold from their location at 145 Yonge St. Toronto. I know the building was built in 1912, so it can't much older than that if at all and my father played it from quite an early age. He was born 1926. I have the number from the sound board if that is of any help, #34832 and it has a wind up stool with clawed feet. I hope this helps and that you can give me even an estimated age.
Thank You
Michele

I have no dates of Everson numbers, but if it's a Williams (Oshawa) piano, the number suggests 1915.
