Post by polishteacher »
Hi,
I am from Poland and I am looking job as a music teacher. Which city is the best for looking it?
Do I have a chance to find it?
I finshed Music Academy on Rhythmics Department, but I teach play the piano too.
Thanks for your advise in advance.

London would be your best bet if your qualification are excepted by the LEA but you will be limited to secondary schools teaching little darlings who dont want to be there.

Thanks for a quick reply. I don't know what LEA means? Can you explain me? Don't worry about teaching little darlings because I do it now in Poland for three years and I knows that it's really hard work but I love it.
Firstly I thought about Dublin, can you tell me why other cities are worse than London to find this kind of job?
Where should I apply for this job - directly in school or in special institution?
Maybe, do you know people who can help me find this job?
Please tell me more if you want of course

LEA
Local Education Authority

There is lots of work in London for Teachers in Secondary school as accommodation is so had to come by for a family that they can afford so if your happy commuting and living in a very small place you will find work in London.
I would try the UK embassy in Poland because there is a shortage of Teachers in London they should help

Its unusual to have a full time dedicated music teacher in a state/church primary school it must be a private school and they tend to pay better I would give them a try then can only say no
