W.Sames Ltd - Any Info gratefully received
Hi, I'm a direct descendent of W. Sames, piano maker in Birmingham in the late 1800s/early 1900s. My 93 year old grandma and her brother were very young when the factory burned down and they wish very much that they knew what year this was in and any other information that anyone has.
I have managed to find out that the factory was established in 1855 but nothing further. If there's anyone out there who knows when it burnt down or any other information my grannie would be thrilled to know it.
thank you.
