Hartman and Stuehler piano

Post by STSpiller »

I am seeking information on a piano maker (circa 1870 - 1920) by the name of Hartman and Stuehler. The piano in question is a square grand.

Thank you.

Hartman and Stuehler

If it's a square grand in the traditional sense of the phrase, it won't much later than the 1870s. I know of several firms named Hartman or Hartmann, but have no information on this one. Without a town or even a country, I don't know where to start looking. If you have logged in, click the link below, and look at the Reports page.

The current owner of the piano told me that the label onf the Hartman and Stuehler piano indicates it was made in New York.

Thank You.[/img]
