...about LANGER 80 action

Post by caleidoscopio »

I forgot a question about my later message
about Royale Classic Ki-114 piano,
I only have checked a posible fault that the repetion fast
of a note is not perfected, Mr. Barrie Heaton
told in a thread about a similar problem in a
Kemble Classic piano with LANGER 80 action, it can
be a problem of LANGER 80 in general?
Is this action a good or wellknown of quailty action?

The action was well made for the price but like all upright actions if they get set up incorrect or if the hammer are off the rail just a tad then it can cause problem with repetition.

Thanks Barrie, I don´t know if finally to consider
this piano, I am afraid about posible problems in
the future and I don´t get to know anybody experimented in this piano Brand. :-(
and I must decide in two days ! between
this piano and a also new Petrof 125 F1 (4770 euros), I think the more
important is a good action, I wonder if Petrof
action of this Petrof 125 is more or less reliable
than the one Langer 80.

Petrof do use Renner actions not sure if it is in all modals they are better than the Langer 80 if set up correct.
