Im 24 and have been playing piano for about ten years, Ive never had any lessons but seem to have picked it up and its my all time favourite hobby. However i have hit a bit of a wall and can't progress without help. I know that if i go to a regular teacher and am sat down in front of a book about reading music and scales then I will just get bored.
Does anyone know of a fun piano teacher in the London area who can help me to progress at blues and rock and boogie woogie piano without expecting me to do all my grades, I understand that I will need to one day grasp reading music and all that stuff but I need to take it slowly! Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.
