The key needs easing. This is a simple job on a piano but more complicated on a digital. Try keeping the piano in a dry place, next to a radiator, this will probably work.
Good luck!
Sticky Keys on Yamaha CLP-950
General discussion about piano makes, problems with pianos, or just seeking advice.
Moderators: Feg, Gill the Piano, Melodytune
This is a common fault on the 950.
Replacement keys are available from Yamaha for about GBP 4.15+VAT. The Yamaha Electronic Keyboard Spares Dept. will oblige, and they're not difficult to fit.
A real piano is available from the same manufacturer for around 2K. These actually sound better, last longer and need no electricity.
