James Hunter

Post by Bill Kibby »

James Hunter doesn't seem to have appeared until the early 1900s, and my first reference to him is 1911, when Church Street was described as being in Bethnal Green. By 1914 it was Shoreditch. After the war, I have no record of the firm, although there was an A.T. Hunter. If you can supply photos for my files, type pianogen into your internet address bar.

If you mean working parts of the notes, there is no Hunter company to get parts from, and the keys and action would not have been made by the same firm anyway. Ask your tuner. Do you have any kind of estimate of the age of this particular Hunter?
