Will I get used to a heavier touch?
Post by janetwilson »
I am thinking of buying a piano (Petrof 116), which has a slightly heavier touch than many pianos, in the lower part of the keyboard... not sure if I will get used to it, or if it will make my hand ache... any advice?

heavy action
Post by pianolad23 »
Dear Janet, i have the same problem as you at the moment, i recently purchased a palatino upright brand new and the action is heavier than im used to and yes it does make my hand ache after a while, i have been advised by my technician that the action can be made lighter by correct regulation,
Hope this helps
