Dear Tuners,

The convention is here to help you Upskill.

Accommodation is £164.00 per day, which includes your Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, and morning refreshments at 11 am. Double room occupancy will be at £209.00 daily, so bring your partner.

A £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required when booking, even if you are not staying at the hotel. The final account must be settled by 30th April 2024. We can take payment by BACS, Cheque and Credit card via PayPal. Cheque payment must be made out to ABPT Trading Ltd.

All classes are free. Travel day will be on Sunday, and the leaving day will be on Wednesday; for those wishing to stay in local B&Bs, there will be a £10 Day rate plus the £50.00 deposit. You must inform us about your attendance and what classes you wish to participate in.


The programme is as follows:
Sunday is a travel day; rooms will be ready form 3 pm.
Classes will start at 9 am on Monday and Tuesday. There will be a break at 11 am for refreshments. Classes will resume until 12.30 when you can buy your own lunch and refreshments from the bar. Classes will resume at 2 pm till 4.30. Evening meal will be at 7 pm.

Monday’s and Tuesday’s classes are as follows:
• Hammer refacing and voicing and Regulating older piano David Fry. (All day) (Class A)
• Grand Regulation. Vale Pianos. All day (Class B)
• Hybrid Pianos Kawai UK Ltd. regulating, also, where you can and cannot stick your fingers. All day (Class C)
• One-to-one tuning classes Richard Foster. 2.5 hours. (Class D)
Fletcher and Newman, Renner UK, will have a full display on Monday and Tuesday.

Wednesday:
Demonstrations from Technology companies to be arranged.
There will be a complimentary buffet lunch at noon. Those who are not interested in technology could leave after your classes on Tuesday.
