Ascherberg baby grand curved both sides

Post by JaniceC »

Hello
I have an Ascherberg baby grand which does not have a straight side. It is curved both sides and opens both sides. It is in walnut. I believe it was made in the early part of the 20th century and that eight of them were made. Does anyone in this forum know about such a piano?
Thanks
Janice

Never take it to seriously when someone tells you only so-many were made.
This sounds like a symmetrical grand, there were a number of makers producing them, including Ascherberg, Ecke Hoffman, and Ibach.
