Conroy / Herrburger Brooks

Post by Bill Kibby »

Herrburger-Schwander in Paris merged with Brooks in London in 1920, to become Herrburger Brooks. They made the action (the working parts of the notes) so I presume that Conroy is the name of the piano. I have no information ready on computer about this name, except an american one: Are you sure that "London" goes with "Conroy"?

Althogh I have general lists of London piano firms for every decade, I haven't found any reference to Conroy in any of them yet, which makes me suspect that it's an alias. See
