Grieg`s Lyric Piece Op57, No1 - Vanished Days
bar 42 - My hand cannot play the three notes together (Bflat, Csharp and A), but I can manage the Bflat and A together. Would you simply not play the Csharp? If I roll the three notes I risk not playing the right ones. It could be messy! Can you help me please?
Re: Grieg`s Lyric Piece Op57, No1 - Vanished Days
In my edition it is bar 40 where I perceive you are having difficulty. If it is any consolation my hand isn't large enough to play this measure comfortably. I think I would omit the bflat.
Edit. Or I might use 1,2 and 5 on the first chord and just omit the bflat in the second by slipping my thumb down onto the lower a, or I might even practice moving my hand so I could play all three notes in each chord. It is really difficult to advise you without seeing what you are doing.
