Cestrian model, Herbert Ellis Chester

Herbert Ellis' firm was in Chester for a very long time, from at least the 1880s to the Second World War, so the name doesn't tell us anything about when the piano was made. Ellis was not a maker, and probably bought the pianos in from an anonymous wholesaler, then applied his name. See
