I have only ever tuned their uprights midrange to low quality for the mass market.

I don’t know were you got your info from but the Co-Op was only started in 1843 and they sold their first piano 6 years after that. The factory only came much later Bill may know when that was

I wonder how many Co-Op dividend stamps your would need to buy a piano

Is that really 1843? As far as value is concerned, it's the same old answer, start from the top of the forum page. The quality of Amyl uprights is average commercial quality, I have never worked on an Amyl grand, but it has been suggested that their factory was only set up to produce uprights, I don't know how true that is. Uprights have datemarks under the bottom keys.
